Public Health Agency of Canada recommends that youth (ages 12-17) should incorporate the following activities into their lifestyle:
• walking, running or cycling
• engage in activities that are appealing such as skating, swimming, skateboarding
• try a fitness class
• helping out around the house with chores including raking leaves, shoveling snow, taking out the garbage
• limit time on the internet including gaming or Netflix (Public Health Agency of Canada, 2019)
